Requirements for filing design applications in New Zealand and Australia
Filing requirements to obtain filing date:
- applicant's full name and address
- full name of the designer
- representations of the design and article, showing all views
- details of the specific design to prepare the statement of monopoly or novelty rights
- priority application details if claiming convention priority (6 month deadline applies)
We will assist you with preparing representations of the design features applied to the article, if required, and initiating refinements with applications to maximise design registration rights being pursued.
